For those of you who don’t know me, here’s a little info for you.
I got married on June 2, 2006 to the most amazing person I know. Her name is Jenna and she is the good looking one in a couple of the pictures above. We live in a home that was built in about 1900 in Hudson WI right along the St. Croix River. It is difficult for me to admit that I live in WI since I am a born and raised Minnesotan, but I justify it by the fact that I am only 15 minutes from St. Paul and 35 minutes from Minneapolis. This allows me to keep my sanity by going to the city from time to time, and allowing me to keep in touch with friends and family that are all in the twin cities area.
I am currently working as the Worship Arts Director at a new church in Hudson called Sanctuary. Although it can be frustrating at times, it is a great honor and joy to be a part of this community and seek God together. For more information check out the “sanctuary” page.
I also play in a band called “Montreal”. it is basically a few friends that love music and enjoy playing together from time to time. We don’t take it too seriously, although we do really enjoy playing and will continue to do so as long as we can. For more info about Montreal, check out the “montreal” page.
I’d like to think of myself as a pretty creative person who is content in most situations. It doesn’t take much for me to have a good time. I think that life is generally pretty good and even when it’s not, there’s no use in stressing out about it. I spend a lot of time with friends going out, watching movies, doing anything outside, or just sitting around and talking and joking about life and all of its interesting facets.
I am quite laid back when it comes to life in general, but there are a few things that I get really excited about. I love to wakeboard in the summers, and ski out west in the winters. I think I could do either of those activities all day, everyday, for the rest of my life and be pretty happy. That is of course if I could bring my guitar with. I love playing guitar (and specifically my guitar) and would probably slip into a depression if I were to some how cut my hand off or do some other horrible thing that would cause me to not be able to ever play again. At that point all I would have left is to sit on the porch of my old house, drink a cold Dr. Pepper and enjoy the company of the most beautiful person I know. (Jenna)
